Trustee elections (posted October, 2009): Elections were held at our October 2009 Board of Trustees meeting.  Since our amendment effort failed, we elected one Trustee instead of three.  Tracy Bolte ran unopposed and will begin his three year term on January 1st, 2010, replacing Jonathan Grund whose term will end.

 

Movie Night (posted August, 2009): The weather was perfect for Movie Night this year.  Thanks to Missy for putting it together - we all had a great time.  You can see a few pictures (not the best) in the "Events" folder of the photo gallery.

 

July 4th Parade and Barbeque (posted July, 2009): The rain pushed us back to July 5th but we had our parade and it was a huge success.  We had decorated bikes and decorated dogs and decorated people.  We had two police escorts and we had a great time.  We ended at the pool where we had a barbeque feast and lots of fun in the pool.  We already have plans to improve the event for next year-I believe we have started a great tradition. Thanks to Deb and Deb and everyone else who chipped in to make this happen.  You can see pictures from the parade in the "Events" folder of the photo gallery (thanks Gina).

 

New Common Ground Bench (posted June, 2009): We recently installed a new park bench in our common ground.  It is a level, shaded area, overlooking the pond just off New Ballwin Rd.  It is a very pleasant place to spend some time while taking a walk or just enjoying the outdoors.  You can see several pictures of the new bench in our Common Ground Photo Gallery. 

 

 

Double fines for speeding (posted August, 2008): In response to ongoing complaints of speeding vehicles in certain locations, the City of

 

Ballwin has established Double Fine Zones on selected streets in the city.  These streets in our subdivision are:

 

  • Aspen Village – from Reinke Rd. to Westglen Village Dr.

     

  • Westglen Village Dr. - full length from both accesses to New Ballwin Road

     

  • Reinke Rd. – entire length of street

     

 

Other Ballwin Streets include:

 

  • Bitterfield - from Henry to Woodsmill

     

  • Claymont Dr. – entire length of street

     

  • Clayworth Dr. – from Hwy 141 to Henry Rd.

     

  • Clear Meadows Dr. – entire length of street

     

  • Cleta Dr. – Ries Rd. to Asilomar Ct.

     

  • Dutchmill Dr. – entire length of street

     

  • Glen Meadows Dr. – Henry Rd. to Brightspur Ln.

     

  • Hillsdale Dr. – entire length of street

     

  • Hill Trail Dr. – Baxter Rd. to Wildwood Parkway

     

  • Old Ballwin – entire length of street

     

  • Parker Dr. – entire length of street

     

  • Ramsey Ln. – entire length of street

     

  • Richland Meadows – Westrun to Kiefer Creek Rd.

     

  • Rustic Valley Dr. – entire length of street

     

  • Twigwood Dr. – entire length of street

     

  • Wildwood Parkway – entire length of street

     

  • Windcliffe Dr. – entire length of street
